Everyone is probably decompressing from the long weekend so I’ll keep it short.

If you had guests for the holiday this might have come in handy, ROLL OUT THE WALL

Created by Vancouver design studio, Molo, the paper softwall dynamically partitions open plan space into more intimate and ephemeral surroundings, in a flexible and temporal way.

Sounds fancy for a fold away wall, but it actually looks functional and attractive, especially if your decor is on the modern or eclectic side.

The CACTUS FRIENDS line from TOKIDOKI is among the most peculiar. These cute kids in their prickly little cactus suits surely stand out and turn heads. The cactus pins are even removable. The collection consists of Sandy, Sabodchan, and their dog Bastardino.

The title is overstated to say the least, but maybe because I like cactus ( a cactus prejudice?) I did think the CACTUS FRIENDS were clever.

The Grim Neurology of Teenage Drinking

According to the results of a national survey of 43,093 adults, published yesterday in Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, 47 percent of those who begin drinking alcohol before the age of 14 become alcohol dependent at some time in their lives, compared with 9 percent of those who wait at least until age 21. The correlation holds even when genetic risks for alcoholism are taken into account.
